Donovan gets the last laugh (Selina & Donovan part 16)

There it is, finally, the last chapter of the story of Selina and Donovan. Real life really got in the way for this one, but the important thing is that I managed to get those two to where they needed to be.

It’s the day of the party, friends and family are there to help them celebrate the new house, the new business and, even though most of them don’t know it yet, the new baby.

There may be little extra bits, we’ll see where my muse takes me. But for now this is it.

Enjoy!

“Ha!” Donovan throws at me as he enters the kitchen, looking delicious in his white shirt and black cargo shorts. “I told you they’d have a wager on this. You owe me.”

He walks up to me and puts his arms around me, his hands on my belly, his chin hooked over my shoulder. Part of me wishes we were still in bed, exploring each other’s nakedness. Continue reading

Lacey wins a bet (Selina & Donovan part 15)

Life has been getting in the way a lot but I got there in the end! Here is chapter 15 (and no, it’s not the last one!) of Selina and Donovan. ^_^

A car door slamming outside jerks me out of my sleep and it takes me a second to remember where I am. A ray of sunlight is streaming through a gap in the curtains and I’m glad I don’t have to get up just yet. It’s Saturday and my plans for the day have nothing to do with work.

I roll over and cuddle up to the warm naked body of the man sleeping next to me. He’s lying on his belly and I spend a minute admiring once again the beautiful tattoo covering his back. Continue reading

And a very horny Christmas to all! (Selina and Donovan part 9)

Wow, that took way longer than I thought it would…

The last weeks of Term 2 were very stressful and this chapter, which I started to cut through all the doom and gloom happening in my story, proved way harder to write that I had anticipated.

It’s a flashback scene, to how it all started, so I started writing in the past tense and it really REALLY wasn’t working. Back to present tense I went and it worked so much better (you don’t need to know all the details but I felt I need to explain…).

~*~*~

Did he have a shower before he went to see her, or did he go straight to her place to confess, smelling like sex? Did he wash my scent off his face or did he walk around all day still smelling like me, like he did the first time he went down on me?

I smile as I remember that day. I let myself remember because I miss him and memories are all I have left now, well, memories and that hoodie which I’ve been sleeping in all week, because it makes the hurt slightly less unbearable.

Christmas Day three years ago. Continue reading

Being bad never felt so good (Selina & Donovan part 6)

When you just can’t help yourself because you’re hurting and he’s right there and you want him so bad, even though you’re soooooooooo mad at him…

Selina just had a night out with her friends to try and take her mind off Donovan after she dropped off at his house all the stuff that reminded her of him. She’s hurting and trying to move forward. ICYMI you can find it right here.

I’m not as careful as I should be and right now I don’t care.

Soon enough it’s 2am and we exit the club and the noise. The fresh air feels nice on my overheated skin and I realise Lacey is on the phone with Chris organising a pick-up point.

Once he gets there we pile up in his car, Lacey in the front of course.

“Keep your hands to yourself, lady, I’d like to get home in one piece!” I say from the backseat and London laughs.

She’s the first one to get dropped off then it’s my turn. I tell Lacey I’ll be over at some point the next day to pick up my car and bid her and Chris a good night.

I walk into my house and wonder why there’s a glow coming from the lounge. I didn’t go in there this morning before I went to work and I’m sure I turned the lamp off last night after the girls left. Continue reading

Don’t know what you’ve got till it’s gone… (Selina & Donovan part 2)

Home at last…

I’ve never been so happy to see my house. I park my car in the driveway—because waiting for the garage door to open is beyond me at this point—and I slowly walk to my front door.

I’m past exhausted after having had to work from opening to closing seven days a week for six weeks straight because the bitch who’s the manager on paper decided to fire the two design students who worked with me then go on a two-month cruise with her toy boy, leaving me to pick up the pieces in the middle of peak wedding season.

Thank fuck tomorrow is a statutory holiday and I can sleep. Supposed to meet up with the girls for lunch to catch up on the goss I’ve missed but I’ve warned them I might not make it.

God I hope I don’t lie in bed staring at the ceiling for two hours again tonight. Donovan got himself a girlfriend, some skinny blonde thing so no more late night booty calls for me, which means no more orgasm-induced blissful sleep. Continue reading

Dreaded family dinner stress reliever

Life has been getting in the way lately, I haven’t been able to write much at all, only just getting my crochet mojo back, the words in my head don’t seem to make it on paper.

That said, I decided it was time to post about Ava and Jackson. ^_^

Sex is a known stress reliever.

So when you’re facing a whole evening with bitter family members who do not agree with your choice of partner, you’re hardly going to refuse your man’s suggestion for some pre-dinner stress relief of the naked kind…

“FUCK!”

Ava nearly threw her phone at the wall in frustration but stopped herself just in time. It was after all a rather expensive phone and she was extremely fond of it. Instead she took a deep breath then another, in an effort to calm herself.

She heard footsteps approaching and dropped her phone into her open handbag on the barstool next to her with a huge sigh before turning around. Continue reading
